The music programme at Echo Echo Studios was established in 2013 with the intention of offering something different to both the musicians who play in the city and the audience who specifically come to watch and listen. The main studio space lends itself perfectly to intimate gigs in beautiful surroundings, with the musicians being the sole focus of attention as opposed to being reduced to providing background music in a noisy bar or venue. With exposed brick walls and a stunning backdrop of the city, Echo Echo Studio has been likened on many occasions to that of a penthouse apartment in Downtown Manhattan.
My vision for the music programme at Echo Echo Studios was to offer the audience something unique, an experience rather than just another event - a chance to get up close and personal with the artist and become attuned to the nuances of a musician’s craft and personality without the usual distractions. Likewise, it is a space where musicians can feel comfortable, valued and most importantly listened to. Artists such as David Kitt, Ports, David Holmes, and more have already adorned our studio floor to sell out crowds, with many others in the pipeline for the future.
